Since the Tamami Hachioji campus is an open campus, I sneaked into a library designed by Toyo Ito. A slender body composed of thin-walled arches is almost a point on the slab surface, and it is a technique that can make a base-isolated structure. Most public ground floors have a gentle slope along the terrain. The shelf is made up of thin plates that curve gently as you go upstairs. In addition, a huge lace curtain is added to the space of concrete and glass, making people look a little elegant. I remembered the exhilaration I felt at the Matsumoto Art Hall. I was not as moved to my previous reputation as I have no artistic sense. Impression that it is narrow (only in the second floor only) for university library. It's on the second floor, so the view is not good either.

There is a space to lie down, and many students are sleeping. Chairs placed on sloping floors are very difficult to use. As a library, you have to go upstairs to read and study books. I would like you to set up such a space on the first floor and cut down unnecessary spaces.
