Suginami ward Imagawa Library

It ’s a nearby library that I always go to in the morning. It ’s a brightly colored library.

It is a beautiful new library. Two stories, the first floor is general, the second floor is a children's book. I often go with children, but it is safe to say that it is separate from the books for general books and children, although it is in the same facility. You can hear it on the first floor if you give a loud voice, but you can go without considering it if you have some speech. There are quite a few children's books, too, and picture books can be rich in variety. There are elevators as well as stairs, so it is easy for strollers and wheelchairs to go upstairs. The toilet is also beautiful so it is comfortable. There are plenty of seats like counters. There is a small table and chair in the children's book corner on the second floor. A user card is required for renting, and registration is required for the first time. Since it is a card common to the library in the district, you can borrow it at other libraries if you make one sheet. Since there is an expiration date, renewal is necessary every few years.

It is vacant until late. I think that Suginami Ward may have more niche books.

Weekdays from 9:00 to 21:00, Sundays and holidays from 9:00 to 17:00. The other libraries in Suginami Ward are open until 20:00 on weekdays, so they are easy to use. The building is beautiful. Wi-Fi is weak. There is only one parking for disabled people. Time parking Imagawa No.3, located 100m west-northwest, is cheap for 200 yen for 60 minutes.

There is a park opposite, so children can enter and leave. There is also a space on the second floor where you can read picture books. There is also a space in the back of the second floor where silver generations do events. So sometimes it's a little bothersome.
