Suginami City Central Library

Recently reopened after extensive remodeling. Considering how long it was closed, I expected more improvements. Has an unusually large collection of English books, though Suginami City does distribute some of the English books at the branches. My recollection is that the English books that used to be on the first floor, but now they're in a kind of isolated place on the second floor.

With friendly staff. Very convenient place to do homework and read books. Also they have wide range of selection of fictional books in English which is one of the reason I go there all the time.

You can use public wireless LAN. The attached park is also very comfortable this season. 2020.11 postscript It has been renewed and has become very modern. The second floor and basement are also very effectively used. I think the table space has increased. You can also read at the cafe. There are also seats where you can bring your own food and drink.

The staff here, attitude is too big. Too little learning. I often work like this. You have a good status. Also, sometimes it smells like a homeless person. Also, no one has borrowed a Korean book corner. Well, people in that direction probably made such a corner.
