The board of education parking lot is open on Sundays and public holidays, but the parking lot tends to fill up. The inside is comfortable without the musty odor that is typical of old libraries. Starbucks is open next door, but the entrance to the library does not face the Starbucks side, so it is not convenient. However, bringing drinks into the library has been eased. (Confirmation required) Occasionally, a doctor helicopter flies to the central park in front of the library. Also, although it is a common feature of Japanese public libraries, there is no provision to exclude books that are obsolete or now harmful (answered by the Yamaguchi City Board of Education). ◆ Use at your own risk! For example, in Yamaguchi City, there is a "Yamaguchi neonatal vitamin K deficiency blood loss fatal accident", but the perpetrators believe in it, and there are quite a few homeopathic books that are considered to be a major factor in the non-administration of vitamin K2. There is. (However, if you search for homeopathic books by cross-library search, many public libraries have about 10 types.) In addition, the Yamaguchi City Library does not have provisions to deal with the indications of these harmful books, and there is no mechanism to consider closing or removing the books.

I started reading because I refrained from reading in Corona. Since the number of books is the largest in the city, I use it each time. There is also a park and a Starbucks next door, so you can read the borrowed books there as they are. Speaking of force, it would be nice if there was a little more room in the parking lot!

It's a nice library with lots of books, clean and cozy.

I think the collection is probably average, but there are quite a few types of magazines. There are plenty of town information and anime hobbies in sports/outdoors, entertainment/movies.
ハリーちゃんねる (08/12/2020)
It may not be suitable for those who want to spend quietly. The first floor is always noisy with the cry of children. The second floor is relatively quiet.
