Yakuin-odori Station（Zoo & Botanical Garden）

Very quiet and calm ambiance with cute logo designs and signage. Station staff members were a pleasure to meet, who made eye contact with us and said “arigatou gozaima” when we were passing through the gate. Fantastic seating with a classy touch. Just as I have finished appreciating the aesthetics around, the train came. Quite an experience.

Subway Nanakuma Line station. There are supermarkets, pharmacies, many clinics and convenience stores as soon as you leave the station. Bicycle parking is 100 yen a day and 150 yen for a moped. There is a coin locker inside the station. 300 yen or 500 yen depending on the size of the locker. The entire station is full of animals and cute ☺️

To the nearest subway station of Fukuoka Zoo and Botanical Garden (but it is more recommended to use bus), the overall design is based on the zoo, and it feels very lively.

When you go to the zoo, take a bus from the beginning, or transfer to the bus obediently. There are restaurants with good lunch in the basic business district and the surrounding area.
