Is an archeaologically valuable site which was located too far from the main road.There is no vehicle path, but you can drive to the place by motorbike. Its very difficult to access here,because there is no road. Only foot steps in here.you have to go through rubber state. No shops or any other places near the cave. Beautiful and cool surrounding in here.you can see only cave and almost surrounding...good place for visit and spend your time and also, good for couples.💑 .. I mean.........❤️👍

Dorawaka Otherwise "ඇතු බැදි ලෙන" cave is archaeological site in kegalla distric. This cave excavated by "W.H. wijayapala" in 1986. he contemplate this cave included to neolithic period. There are much rock Arts in dorawaka cave. That is female elepant and her child, sun and moon, conch, hunter (two peoples), fishes and any more rock arts.

Reaching the cave is slightly a tedious task. Might have to walk about 1km into a by road in order to reach the Dorawaka cave also called the Athu bendi lena. the cave is formed by two large boulders leaning on to each other. Inside the cave, can be seen some fascinating inscriptions and sketches of animals and various markings. If one needs to get more information regarding the cave and the related history, there's this official person appointed by the archaeological department residing in his home close by the cave (about 600m from the cave) has a documentary that can be seen at his residence.
