Red Mosque is situated in E.L. Senanayake Veediya in Kandy. It is a red and white building located down the same road as Lord Kataragama Temple. It is amongst the most beautiful mosques in Sri Lanka. The mosque shows hints of Indian architecture in its building and structure.

One of the landmark buildings in Colombo and one of the oldest mosques in Colombo. Attracts a considerable amount of tourists and very well popular among people those who are interested in architecture. The place is full of Indian Islamic architecture and the colours of red and white have been able to give an unique look to the mosque. I recommend and invite anyone visiting Colombo to visit this place. Have a nice day!!!

I am a non muslim, i went there with my friend, initially i had an odd feeling but people there were so friendly.. UNEXPECTED but the place is good
