James Taylor's Well

It is the well used by James Taylor for his personal use. He is believed to be the person to introduce tea plantation to Sri Lanka. From the main road, you can reach the cottage by a vehicle (a high clearance one is preferred, though it is even manageable on a car). The well is situated to the side of his cottage, a few steps down the hill.

It lucks like a natural pond. You can see this left side when climbing to the ruins
