This is one of Main railway Station is kelanyweli line. Railway staff are given friendly and helpful quick service. There is a covered waiting area, baggage storage, lavatory and wheelchair accessible entrance. There are no more trains operate every time and vehicles parking facilities / Wheelchairs accessible parking near the station.
Fairly a large station and many commuters use this place to travel to Colombo and back specially on weekdays.
