Scenic View of the train track closer to Bandarawela Kebillewela road. Climb to the mountain peak Walagediya where you can have a Helicopter view of the train and the rail track. If you take your children take extra care when climbing over the peak. nice attraction towards man made beautiful rail road bridge which is more than yeas old . It was built by the British once they were ruling Ceylon.

This is also an old railway bridge built by British and located very close to Bandarawela Railway Station toward Diyathalawa. You may easily reach the location by traveling 1.5 km towards Haputhale from Bandarawala Railway Station and then turn left, the Bridge is to be found ¾ km away from Beragala – Haliela Highway. It was interesting to see the train from different perspectives when the train came over the Bridge. You can hear the train coming on its way to Diyathalawa or Bandarawela because it toots its horn quite often since railway line crosses two roads at the both sides of the Bridge.  It makes for some really nice pictures and sightseeing. Would recommend this as an outing to do when you visit Bandarewala especially with your kids but should take care.
