Short walk from the Kitalella railway station. Take the footpath from the Bo tree between the station and bridge

This waterfalls is dried out currently. No stream falls down because of no rain and also water fountains are dried up. SL government should consider about these waterfalls why they are dried up, why the fountains are dried up. What happened to the water etc. Waterfalls are the things that Sri Lanka's true identity exposure to the world.

There seems to be no public access to the bottom of this waterfall. There's a path that leads to it from the railway bridge, and a local guy jealously guarding it, claiming it is his private land. Better don't go until local police steps in and clears up the situation. You can still go to the top, though, with pretty nice views.

Park by the railway station. At small flows possible to go down and look over the edge. Beautiful railway walk from the station. Terrific view of the surrounding mountains! You will be at the top of the fall so not great for swimming.

Beautiful waterfall without tourists. It's difficult to find, probably you will need a guide. It's not good place to swimming there
