Nice place. But the ticket price is so high than the element you can see. But the good thing is most of this way to Cave, nice stairs available. In the middle of the journey you can stop and take Coconut drinks and tea from a Middle age persons shop. In addition, you will get a great city view from that shop.

Environment is very clean. They charge a very small amount i think its not a legal charge. Very nice climb. There is a huge cave to see. Bit slippery. It was nice to go in and see the cave but i would not return.

45 min hike from the bottom to the cave. Safe track with hand glide. Nothing much mind blowing or very interesting. Just a cave but the legacy around it and the existing stone carvings are very interesting. There is a temple next door which goes to the age of King walagamba. He will explain the value and show the misterious signs in the stones if he is free. Make sure you buy some fruit juice from theocal seller. He is an excellent guide and advice you the best routes and plans. We actually changed our plans and it was totally worth it. 👌
