This is the 73rd railway station in mainline from the Fort station Colombo located at 265.4 km. Altitude is 1118.90 meters above the mean Sea level. Nearest railway stations are Kinigama and Kithaella. There are a lot of Faddy fields and Vegetable beds can be seen.

One of the best railway stations

Took the journey on train from Kandy to Ella and I highly recommend it! It may be 6 hours and a bit rough but the views are incredible!!!! I recommend reserving a seat 1 month in advance as if not you’ll end up like us standing the whole time. As they don’t stop selling tickets and just pack the cars like sardines haha.
