Sunset Observing Place

Perfect sunset point. Nice lawn for chilling. Just take a joint and and a couple of Lions Stout and spend an evening here. Cozy place.

You can sit down on the edge of the wall and under your feet, you can see, the sea playing with the rock reef. Above your head, you can see the red mix golden sky. From your left side, you can see the Galle lighthouse and the beautiful golden sea. From your right side, you can see the Galle city and also the golden sea playing with rock reef. In front of you, you can see, the red sun trying to hide in the golden horizon between the golden sea and the red sky. If you want to observe the sunset, it's better to go on around 4.45 pm in the evening. It's much better to visit this place with your loved one because it's really romantic when the red sun kisses the golden sea. Be careful when you sitting on the edge of the wall. I know you can swim well but don't try it here. Sadly there aren't any accessibility facilities at this spot. I can guaranteed this is the best place to observe the wonderful sunset in Galle. Highly recommended for everyone who love to have a amazing experience. This place is not safety for children. On Sunday there are a lot of local people come to this place and this place filled with people therefore you have to go early to select a good place to sit down. This place is totally free and you don't have to buy any tickets. Drones are not allowed in Galle Fort. It's an illeagle thing to flying a drone inside Galle Fort. Please don't use drones, if caught you'll lose your drone, your mobile device and also you have to pay a big fine too. This is the most iconic sunset spot in Galle.
