Beautiful environment with frequent cold weather.

The Riverston Peak has a stunning cold and misty views of the nearby Knuckles Mountain Range and Thelgamu river valley. You have to walkdown 2.5KM Approx. to reach the tower from Riverston Entrance. Heavy winds are always there to give you a very rare experience. You can have coconut roti with lunu miris near the entrance. Its better if you take a water bottle from the entrance. The number of tourists arriving on weekends/holidays is very high, which can cause traffic at the entrance. There are two three small shops at the entrance. Over all its a nice and amazing experience. It would be nice if women could wear a dress that fits the heavy winds.
