Ambalammana pathana අම්බලම්මාන පතන

This place is rather new but seemed to be closed recently. It is situated on a beautiful landscape on top of a hill. An off-road vehicle is recommended to get up here during the heavy rainy season that falls frequently around this area. The morning weather is so cold and windy as heavy winds blow from this area. The people around are very friendly and will offer to help and even find lodging places to outsiders. The road here is through the quartz mine which lies on the side of the Moragolla road. Passing the mine will lead you to the village which is picturesque and wonderful. There will be a temple towards the middle of the road where you would have to take the right handed road that would staright away take you to the mountain with a nice climb. By the end of the climb you will pass a small set of village homes where you will find helpful people to assist you of any kind. A nearby empty lodge was also spotted in case of change of mind. A small tip for the villagers is appreciated as they live a hard life and have a hard commute. Try to take a night up the hill and enjoy the beauty of the place and surroundings that would refresh your mind and body and will help you ease and relax.
