One of the sixteen holiest places a Buddhist should visit in Sri Lanka, with a long written history behind it. Could be reached by a boat only from the main island, it's about 30 minutes ride. Calmness is mixed with the beautiful sound of the sea, boasts with rich history of Sri Lanka.

This is the main Buddhist temple in Jaffna town with accommodation.Limited number of Air conditioned rooms and non A/C rooms also available.Cooking facilities also available and security is provided by Sri Lanka Army. Room reservation could be arranged over the phone.
