Firenze Restaurant - San Miguel de Allende

Terrific food is good as any major city services impeccable small safe enjoyable

After two weeks of Mexican food (no disrespect) we were in the mood for something simple so picked this out of one of the myriad of Italian restaurants in SMdA. There was a slight issue with one of the glass doors coming into the restaurant which nearly led to a Mr Bean moment but the other door was fine (Doh). The pasta was superb and also tried my first taste of Mexican wine which was delicious. The service was very good as well. Not cheap by Mexican standards but by UK prices the quality would have been from a more upper market Italian back home in London. Would recommend.

Very fancy Italian restaurant in a small indoor space. It was fairly hot in the early evening. I would have enjoyed it more if there was outdoor seating.

Top notch food and service!! The braised short ribs, salmon, and bread pudding were amazing!! Went back twice during our vacation. Extremely reasonable prices considering the quality/quantity of food and service when compared to US.

Not sure where to begin...not offering a beverage menu with the prices, but a visual selection of three white wines and three reds by the bottle. Three in our foursome chose a bottle of white(and then a second)...my request for a glass of red again came sans price list or options. Two loved their grouper fish special, while two had pasta,one that was a joke...literally 2 tablespoons of a creamy pasta with peas and maybe a few specks of pancetta. Shared 2 appetizers, one dessert among three (a bite and 1/2 each and again no carte). I guess if you want to see the prices, you can't afford it or ???? $200 USD...at least $50 to$75 USD overpriced. First and last time.
