Olinka Cafe-Comedor

I've been here quite a few times and enjoy the food. My experience today was a bit frustrating as my wife and I don't get out of the house much these days due to COVID. We decided to come here for a mid-week lunch and found the place empty. Perfect for us. It was hot out and opted to sit inside. We walked in and requested a table by the large window in the event that more customers came in, we could feel comfortable dining without our mask. We were promptly told we could not sit next to the window and to choose a table with two chairs away from the window. I'm baffled. I look over at the window and there are individual tables pushed together to seat four with plenty of room on each side, easily able to be separated. I look around the restaurant once more, it's empty, and the only couple seated outside is getting up to leave. I ask if we can separate the two tables with enough room to maintain social distancing norms and am told no and the waitress walks away. We reluctantly sit down but we're tempted to leave given the service up to this point. We did enjoyed getting out of the house for a bit. Fortunately it was slow while we were there and were able to eat comfortably. I do wish they would make a greater effort to accommodate their customer, particularly during these times that are so tough for the restaurant and service industry. Overall, the meal was tasty enough for 4 stars but the service the older woman gave us left a bad taste in my mouth. A solid 3 star experience today.

Good flavor but nothing exceptional, I came here with my Wife for breakfast, very few options, they do not offer and do not give you bread or something to eat with you breakfast. Place is for young people with no defined expectations.

Excellent food

The place is very beautiful, the terrace! The coffee is very tasty, as is the cochinita cake (very well served) and the pizza was very tasty. So far I have liked everything. And the attention has been very good. Thanks! :)

The service is terrible in general from both the waiters and the hostess, they have very bad treatment with the customers the food was going well until they brought the fried chicken sandwich which had a 🪰 fly. It would be advisable
