The Historic Center of Mexico City is due to its history, filled with remains of Aztec temples and pyramids up to 6 meters below the current surface of the city. Around 1970, when the connection works for lines 1 and 2 of the City's metro were being carried out, an archaeological complex was located, of which only the small circular temple dedicated to the god Ehecatl was preserved. It is desirable that more temples and pyramids of Greater Tenochtitlan be located and archaeological windows open that allow showing the great cultural wealth that Mexico City still hides.
