Food was awful, if you do not speak Spanish you will struggle to understand majority of the staff. We booked our honeymoon here, we had the 2nd best room. 0 AC for our 6 day stay, our hot tub well it was a cold tub. Everyday someone will try and talk you into buying something. So if you are going for a romantic getaway, this would not be your best option. This is more of a getaway with the kids, that I can say they do great. I have scrolled through slot of the reviews, all of the workers were masked up, and we had 85-88 degree weather the whole time. So all the Karen’s that are complaining about masks, stay home.

We had so much fun. There were 4 of us and two were 8. They had a lot to keep them busy. I did like that it was a small resort.

Horrible experience. First room smelled like mold and very humid. The restroom ceiling was falling. We were moved to another room on the 5th floor. I woke up to water dripping on my suit case. They didn't bother to move me and I had to stay in a room with a wet couch. The food is pricey and taste Horrible. It's a lot cheaper to eat outside the hotel.

At first I was worried that we made a mistake by choosing this hotel. The hotel is dated and the food mediocre. However, as the week went on these things faded in importance. The intimacy of this resort made it possible for us to easily keep track of the kids between the pool and the beach. The service was excellent. The area surrounding the resort was very safe and I enjoyed daily walks through town in the AM. The kids had an amazing time and can't wait to go back. I suggest whenever visiting a foreign country to bring charcoal capsules.

I need to start by saying the staff are Fantastic! This crew were able to cater to any request, and did so with a sincere and massive smile on their face. The bartenders, the cleaning staff and the grounds crew worked their butts off all day and were very impressive - I especially admired Guillermo from the grounds crew who in the blazing sun consistently smiled and was friendly to everyone he passed while completing the many tasks in his role. 3 Star rating because the facilities were quite dated and the food was mediocre... however you do get what you pay for. My friends and I all had a wonderful stay here - price was our focus in choosing this resort, not luxury. If you're looking for an affordable stay this place is great. However if you're more accustom to the finer amenities of vacationing I'd suggested somewhere else.
