Selva El Jabalí

Wonderful! I walked in and camped in my own tent and was given a comfy mattress to use. Beautiful pets, lovely family. Big shaded areas with hammocks, big kitchen, fast wifi, pool. Shaded camping spots. Perfect peace. I could stay here for weeks.

This is more than just a camping ground, it is an experience, a lifestyle and a sanctuary to countless animals including the beloved Jabali, that the place takes its name from, who strolls gleefully around the grounds greeting campers. It is not an exaggeration to say that Alan is the most motivated and helpful person on any campground in the world, enthusing campers into late night pool exercise sessions and early morning toucan viewings. There is also an opportunity to go snorkelling in a compact turtle pool with spiritual maxims written on the side. Dona Theresa should be known as Santa Theresa for her work with the animals including a squirrel that was rescued from the jungle during our stay. We were even lucky enough to spend the night on a swing bed above their giant aviary. Forget the ruins, forget the beach, this is the reason to come to Tulum.

A wonderful place, quiet and connected to nature, just 10 minutes from downtown Tulum. With kitchen service, pool, wifi and maximum flexibility. Hammocks, cabins, palapas, rental of tents and area to park the car, van or caravan ... A wonderful people that will surely invite you to a delicious plate of food and will bring you closer to the town of ride without problems. Thanks for all Tere and Yun !! A very strong Hug :)
