Pancho Villa

This place was very cute. Right on the water. The food was very good. The shrimp was delicious and the cocktails was amazing. The staff was very friendly and the food came out in a timely manor. They had a live band that was very good too. Definitely a nice spot to stop and grab a bite to eat.

Food was good, but overpriced. $14 for nachos? The waiter was very slow (15 minutes for bill and change), overcharged us $20 pesos (which I didn't bother to correct them) and a 15% tip was included in the bill. I would have been happy to tip that amount if he had provided good, efficient service. But he seemed annoyed when I asked him for change 10 minutes after I gave him the money.

My wife and I visited this place twice. The food was great, the drinks were refreshing and the area was awesome and the customer service was great. The lady bartending could use a smile. She wasn't rude, slow or disrespectful. She just didn't smile. Other than that, we had a great time. Highly recommend this place.

Great food, nice people, relaxed atmosphere, cool music, and COCOLOCO'S. The best part. Save yourself the long road to the hotel zone and enjoy the local side of Tulum.
