Museo de Mineralogía Eduardo Villaseñor Söhle

This place is unbelievable vast. The sheer volume of rocks, minerals and crystals is astounding. And it's free! It's a little difficult to find on the School of Mines Campus of the University of Guanajuato. You also have to walk up several hundred stairs. But it's worth it!

We could not access, Google maps said they closed at 6 pm, we arrived at 3:15 pm and they told us that the museum closed at 3 pm ....

We did not have access to the interior of the museum because it is closed for the holiday period. It could be very useful to include updated information in the booths where they give you tourist information. This museum is located within the faculty of metallurgy mines and geology in San Matias. I don't know a page where we can check the availability of schedules and days within the holiday period in which we can access the museum. I would appreciate the information on this point.
