Very impressed tons of stairs to get down there beautiful place for a wedding for a big party very majestic place

It wasn’t what I expected. I expected an actual tour within the mine but unfortunately that was not the case. The whole tour was simply going down an uneven, slippery, set of stairs to a small room underground. Once there, it only last for about 5 min in which they explain a little history. Afterwards, you have to go back up and that’s it.

Careful with going down the shaft or bocamina. Very steep, very dark, slippery, hot & humid. It's not for everyone. Sad how miners were treated !!

Very good place. Good history! I speak Spanish and English so for me listening to the guide was no problem, but for tourist that dont speak Spanish it is a problem. They show you an informative video before the tour but it's just in Spanish, no subtitles or anything. But dont let this stop you from visiting this mine! Ignore the tour guide and admire the mine. Have fun!
