A very beautiful place, a little unknown but it is really worth visiting to learn more about the "old Tijuana"

Very good place to know about the history of Tijuana

I have already commented on the absence of spaces for reading and books. They are really very few. When a man with all the years in the world received me, he was wearing a suit and a red tie, he had a hat on his head and he saw me as soon as I walked through the door. He was barely moving and he let me know more or less what the Historical Archive works on. I let him know that it was my first day in the city and I wanted to know what I could find there. Luckily I got to the place where the historical memory of Tijuana is located. The young city has under its shelter the first documents that give testament to its foundation, origins and growth in just over a century. In letting me know my interests, the girl in charge of the printed materials provided me with several chubby books on the history of Tijuana, another of the works and growth in recent times, as well as a couple of tourist guides. Here I was able to get to know the Agua Caliente Historic Site or more about La Mojonera and the way in which Tijuana became famous at the beginning of the century. The place is a little room with no light, but comfortable, with smooth walls, usually silent since few people come to investigate or inquire about the heritage of the place. So if you want to read for a while, be calm, know more about this city, one hour, two, they could be very useful - as they were for me - to guide you on where to go or what to see in Tijuana and its surroundings. Friendly service and quick material loans. Unfortunately, not all books and papers are in the best condition, but a great effort is made to maintain and bring this information to the people in this place.
