Built in 1635 at the top of the highest hill in the Yucatan town of Tekax, this small chapel, where Saint Diego de Alcalá is worshipped, offers a beautiful sight of the town and it's surroundings.

A whole hasaña climb this place, a great exercise, in the end you get a great view, therefore, it's worth it. You have to be lucky to find the church open because it is opened by a man without a "schedule", which opens when he feels like it. Above is a very nice green area, there is a small road to climb by car but do not ruin the walk.
