This museum was erected on the premises of the former Viceroyalty College of San Francisco Xavier dating from 1743 dedicated to educating the indigenous population until 1754. After the expulsion of the Jesuits from New Spain in 1767, it stopped working. However, after the expulsion of the Jesuits from New Spain in 1767, it ceased to function as such, leaving several decades of abandonment. Its proper location in the center of the city of Puebla and museum attraction has allowed it to occupy a very special place at the national level, becoming one of the main diffusers of Military History. In this Cultural Site pieces of great value are presented to make the general public known about the role of our institution throughout history. The property has an area of 2,200 square meters, in which different spaces and recreational modules have been designed, to provide a better service to our visitors. The user can interact and enter the route that will bring them closer to military history, from the Pre-Hispanic Era to the Present.

It's clean, medium size, standard exposition and affordable museum....

Very clean, very well organized, the exhibit flows very well, and there is quite an enjoyable number of pieces of interest. The is a small tank that you can actually get inside. There are military personnel guarding the area, so it is quite safe. Two floors of exhibits. There is handicap access.
