Nice looking place not many people they are telling about Mexican history you need a translation service there if you don't speak Spanish

A small place with a fascinating little tour-- go into the back and ask them to show you how the family dyes their products before weaving them, then go down a few steps into a cave to watch hat weaving, then watch them be pressed into shape using machines built by their grandparents. Restrooms in back, cash, hats of all wuskity and smaller items for sale, handy convenience store next door.

It's the place where they made one of the best brands of local sombreros(palm sombreros)

It's a small place on the way back to Mérida, they sell this very special hats made with a fibre called jipi-japa. They elaborate them inside of a cave, it can take them weeks to weave one piece. The town is very poor and the residents live solely from tourism, you can even visit the cave where they work. The quality and beauty of the hats is beyond question.
