El Teúl is an important Mesoamerican archaeological zone located on the hill of the same name, in the Municipality of Teúl in the southern state of Zacatecas, Mexico. It is located very close to the state of Jalisco. This site had one of the first industrial areas of the continent, they manufacture copper and ceramic crafts, and many archaeological materials of various types have also been found, such as: shell and green stone beads from shooting tombs, as well as earmuffs with motifs Teotihuacan and polychrome ceramic codex style. The wealth of found objects is the result of the continuous occupation that this elevation had for at least one thousand 800 years, in contrast with large cities such as Teotihuacán and Monte Albán
