You know when you visit a city for the first time and try to read all of the online reviews to find the best places to dine? You eventually decide on the places and visit one or two of them and realize ... oh ... this is where all the tourists dine. This is *THAT* place. If you do decide to visit, it is not an entire disappointment. The food is very good but nothing extraordinary. The cocktails were good but, again, nothing that you can’t get most anywhere else (with better options). The house in which it resides is beautiful and well-maintained but the service was mostly poor all-around. The restrooms and outdoor dining patio were abysmal. We ate indoors and the room was a bit too crowded for COVID-times.

I do understand that we are having a hard time right now. So we decided to patronize a restaurant near our home in Merida. This was the absolute waste of 500.00 usd for two persons that I have experience in this town. I really hate to give this review but it is well deserved. We had a 1:30pm reservation and arrived at 1:30 to be told they do not open until 2:00pm. We made the reservation through Open Table which they are a member. We also did the full tasting with the wine paring. What a joke! Just don’t do it. There are so many good restaurants in Merida. This is the third time we have tried it. Three strikes and your out! Sorry

The space is beautiful, the service excellent and everything we ordered deserved a moment of quiet reverie to fully appreciate. We ordered the pibil duck and beef taco starters - both delicious and the portion of beef tacos was enormous. Then we followed with the smoked shrimp in quesillo sauce which was thankfully less excessive in terms of portion size. We accompanied it all with the Chilean Chardonnay; a great balance of dry to floral while additionally being the cheapest option. Would highly and thoroughly recommend!

One of the best meals of my life. Amazing tasting menu full of new flavours with some very cleaver dishes and outstanding staff. The Wine list (and Cellar) goes beyond expectations.

Worth a visit, the food is good and the wine menu extensive! Classy and relaxed ambiance. We ordered a la carte and everything was great but nothing incredibly amazing. Our server was a bit flustered and the service wasn’t perfect, but he was trying hard at least. Starters arrived before our drinks - the restaurant did not seem that busy. Overall was a good experience, check the pictures, the presentation of the food is really good! Expensive by Merida standards but still cheaper than a standard meal in SF, NYC, London, etc.
