Great to see places like this in Boquillas. Not pushy, very very friendly, great food and margaritas with a lovely view of the river. Only thing I wish they had was fans. Will definitely come back on our next trip. We took the donkeys round trip and it was wonderful.

We ate at both places in Boquillas for comparison (and just because). Service here was very slow and painful (to be transparent we were there during peak season). We ordered chips and salsa and margaritas. The margaritas were ok but definitely over priced for what they were. Jose Falcon was much more "americanized" compared to the authentic experience we had at the other restaurant. Jose Falcon does have a "view" if you sit outside. However, after spending a week with views in BBNP, I preferred watching the city and street scenery at the other restaurant. Jose Falcon had live music which was a nice touch though.

Great little restaurant in an authentic mud hut town. Food was good, considering the town. I was worried about getting sick from the water used to cook with, but no one got sick. Friendly town.
