Alux Restaurant Bar and Lounge

An amazing experience, we were so astonished by the place the first night, that we booked for an other 2 nights right after. I've never eaten that much lobster in my life, not before and not after that experience. The portion for one person was so huge, you could feed the whole village. Fantastic ambience and coulis. One of a kind! Definitely recommend! Best place in the Area. Thank you 😊 💓

This place is absolutely incredible. The food is next level. Each dish is perfectly prepared. The staff is so friendly and so helpful. The ambiance is so unique. It is a literal, real life cave, which is so cool. This does mean that it is fairly muggy in here. We came here during our honeymoon and they treated us to complimentary pina coladas, we don't drink and our waiter remembered this and made sure the drinks were non alcoholic. The whole experience was really cool. It is expensive, but it was money well spent.

The only thing awesome about this place is the ambiance and the drinks. I had a terrible experience with the host staff who made me wait 30 minutes to be seated with my party that had ALREADY BEEN THERE and barely acknowledged my presence when I tried to bring this to their attention. Thank goodness for our server, Rafa who more than made up for my bad experience with the host staff. He was very kind. The food looks fancy, but is incredibly underwhelming and lacking flavor. I stay here in Playa long-term and I'd rather go to the taco stand down the street from my house. Go for apps, drinks, and cool pics. Hopefully the trash host staff is nicer to you.

The food is amazing, the staff are amazing, the drinks are amazing and the atmosphere will blow your mind! This is an experience that you don’t want to miss out on. the attention to details from the kitchen, to the waiting staff is impeccable! You have to try this place, seriously you will not regret it

Atmosphere was amazing. You eat in a beautiful little cave system. We went on Thanksgiving and the food was so so. Not bad but not great with American fine dining prices. 🤷‍♀️ But the atmosphere alone is worth 4 stars.
