Very reasonably priced, clean, simple (fairly small and sparse rooms, but comfortable enough) and safe. Privacy is respected. Great location relative to Zocolo, cathedrals, shops, etc. Just far enough removed from the center (10-15 min walk to Zocolo) to have less traffic and fewer crowds. It's family owned and operated. Many of the maids and other staff have been with the hotel for years, and they really do a great job. Everyone is competent and very friendly. The front desk staff speaks English. Hot water. Plumbing is functional. My family has been staying for 2-3 months in one of the suites (there are regular hotel rooms and suites, which have a kitchen and bedroom separate from the living area) for many years. Many other people (largely elderly) are also annual guests. If it's not booked up, this place offers excellent value.

Local hotel. Not fancy or with extra amenities. Beds are pretty hard.
