Beautiful natural beach. No food or music allowed as it's a turtle sanctuary. Sometimes the water is calm and sometimes there are big waves! My pictures are from a calm day. It's one of the best places for snorkelling. We always see Eagle rays, rays and tons of fish and corals. There is an entrance fee of 88pesos per person and the money goes towards maintaining the turtle sanctuary. Hours of the beach are 10am-4pm and it is closed on Mondays. We find it very busy on Sundays but it's pretty quiet during the week.

This beach is lovely. We went today and it was very windy and wavey. We loved the gentle waves. Water is crystal clear and the Cancun blue . The thing I did not like was the road done. Come on people we pay a fee to get in, use some of that money and patch it up. It won't take much to fix that road. That's pretty much the only negative thing I have to say. I loved the privacy, no smoking, no loud music, no dogs. It's perfect

A basic, authentic and strictly protected beach not far from Tulum. Every year around 200,000 turtle eggs hatch here. It’s literally prohibited to enter any part of the protection area except the narrow stretch of the beach and the path that leads to it. You’ll see numerous signs about the wildlife that you “might encounter” in the area but of course, if you‘re confined in a very small area, you won’t be able to see any of them. They need to consider making hiking trails around the protection area like anywhere else the world so that the nature lovers can enjoy seeing more wildlife. There are no sun beds or shaded areas on the beach so it’s a good idea to bring your own umbrellas.

Great place to enjoy a calm beach day. With far less tourists than other beaches in the area

Dont go! They closed the cenote and half of the beach. Only crazy rules rules rules with no reason. Any step you do they watch you. You cannot swim in the ocean from the middle of the beach to the right. All people sit on eachother on the left. No feeling of nature or freedom!!! But this is the only reason why you would go on this under-average beach.
