On a sunny day, the water has an amazing emarald colour. Can walk all around the lake in about 30 minutes. Various options of ziplining and boating. And eateries. Parking gets quite crazy after noon. Entry fee of 20 mxn per head, no parking charge.

A great experience all around. If you want a smoky atmosphere surrounded by beautiful mountains and great/attentive service just stop by. You get the old world treatment and memories that will make your trip worthwhile three times over.
