Museo de la Ciudad de Mexico

small museum,only modern art at the time of my visit but nice building

It's a small but very purposeful museum. It is focused on the pre and post colonial architectural and infrastructure history of the Mexico City. I wish somebody told me to come here as the first thing to do in CDMX because it really helps to see the city from a better perspective before visiting other museums and monuments. Definitely the first place to visit.

Great little museum, but I expected a little bit more of it since Mexico City is one of the biggest metropolis in the world.

The permanent exhibition about the history and development of Mexico City is amazing. it really worths a visit. Althought, the temporary exhibitions were not related with the museum at all. I was expecting to see exhibitions about the city and art related to the urban space. There were two different exhibitiond bout artists, focusing on their biography. I think the museus should focus on its porpuse, debating the city and its questions.

Nice atmosphere with some exhibition and art gallery. Not much to see though.
