Museo Nacional de Historia, Castillo de Chapultepec

Great place to visit. A must see if you are on vacation in Mexico City. Renews my interest in history.

The castle and museum is currently closed , but it's a must see point of interest for anyone visiting México City or CDMX .

The castle is beautiful and it’s history is rich and fascinating. There was an amazing exhibit on the ancient mexicas shields upstairs when we went and we were lucky enough to receive a free guided tour by a very nice student who explained everything in much greater detail than if we were without him. The lack of one star is because the museum offers no information in other languages other than Spanish which is a shame for the world as it doesn’t educated people on the wonderful history of Mexico and the castle. I would recommend somehow finding a good guide to teach you about the history of the building and history of Mexico while there.
