It was unfortunately closed and we couldn’t see this info here on maps(January 2021), which is why I’m posting cause there are lots of people driving there only to find it’s closed due to the pandemic.

This place is good for camping. Right there you can rent tents, mattresses, and everything you need in your stay. There's a charge and it depends if you're an adult or a child. There are some food places. It's a nice area.

I just love this place, weather it's perfect, the water it's always warm, plenty of mini-restaurants, food, drinks. You can also camp. The place is safe, come and have fun!

It's astonishingly amazing place. It's very very beautiful. It's near to the town Rio de verde (30 minutes from centro). The place is a reserve area with a big lake. The place has ample parking space. As you enter the reseve area, you need to purchase tickets, you will be given a wrist band. While on entry they will verify the band and check your luggage for non permissible items(like speakers). As you enter there are many snack shop, restaurant with mexican food options, sea food, fruit stall, souvenir shops. They have shower room, changing room and washroom which can be used at minimal cost of MXN5. They also provide hotel facility which i didn't used. So now once you get yourself changed, you move forward where there are shops where you can get life jackets, snorkel glass on rent. You can purchase them also, there they sell souvenir, wood stick for bonfire, marshmallows etc. Than you will move to Lake area which will leave you awestruck it's very beautiful with blue water surrounded by trees, here you can also do camping. They also offer scuba dive for MXN 900. Aparte from this you can do rafting, swim in water , relax, do bonfire, eat, have fun. It's a perfect weekend getaway.

Nice place for vacation. Water is clear and is beer so you can have a beer and enjoy the place.
