National Museum of Death

Closed, not sure why but probably covid

A place to know more about the importance of death among people. Great exposition, well organized and very cheap.

Very interesting museum. Nothing is in English, so don't expect to read any information. Also, I hit my head on the second ledge going downstairs. It's hard to see it because your eyes can't adjust quickly enough. So if you tall(maybe 6 ft and up), be careful going down.

It is okay. It's an hour experience that is fine but is not imprescindible for an excellent tour at Aguascalientes Center. Very near to the cathedral and Juarez Walking Street. Displays death vission from different Mexican aspects, has two or three rare pieces. The prehispanic room is impressive but too small. Expect nothing more than 5 rooms in an ex-convent.

This was an awesome experience. It actually builds up pretty nicely. From drawings and paintings, to a small look at death from around the world. Finally to some great art and sculptures. The layout of the location left something to be desired as we had to be escorted from display to display. Even still I highly recommend a visit.
