Go there if you want to know more about the mesoamerican peoples who made Tabasco their home. More information could have been shown not only in Spanish but also in English. Bonus: contemporary art exhibitions.

Another excellent regional museum with a collection mostly from La Venta. Unfortunately the interpretive signs are not bilingual and there are no audio guides. This museum also has on display a codice, a rarity for mesoamerican museums.

You definitely need more than a half day to fully grasp the importance of the different cultures that make up Tabasco, this museum is very well maintained and all their pieces are authentic. Highly recommended.
