Restaurante Tacana

I tend to at times be skeptical of beautiful food out of a perhaps misguided belief that if the presentation is legitimately stunning then the kitchen’s focus isn’t where it should be, but the chilaquiles at Restaurante Tacana in Puebla were the very best I’ve ever had flavor wise (flaky chips that held it together without becoming mush even as I continued to eat my way through the dish, both sauces delicious, high quality eggs) and were by ffffffaaaaaarrrrrr the most (only?) beautiful chilaquiles I’ve ever had... the place is also gorgeous, and they have plentiful outdoor seating, which is very important for me personally during the pandemic... The prices are right and the food is delicious. The staff is sooo friendly, I would really go back a thousand times it's worth it. The dessert is delicious.

The place is very spacious, the food is very rich with very generous portions, affordable prices and excellent service. Definitely a place to try in the center of Puebla

The octopus toasts were delicious, and at a good price ... The dishes are very beautifully presented, there were no people and you could see a little only the place, outside of that everything was very good.

A beautiful place, the delicious corn dessert is eaten very rich, highly recommended, affordable prices.
