Museo de la Filatelia Oaxaca

this was one of my favorite stops on our trip to Oaxaca. I'm not yet fluent in Spanish but it's possible to get an idea of the current exhibit from the placards and imagery. the space is absolutely gorgeous, and there's a lovely garden area for sitting and reading. definitely worth a quick visit.

Super cool. Can't believe it's free. I am not necessarily a stamp fan, but still really place to go. Beautifully kept and lots of art created with stamps. Definitely stop by if in the neighborhood.

I’m a bird stamp fan and there are tons of bird stamp from many countries. There are even real aviaries hinging on the room with bird’s design stamps in them. There is also one chamber of stamps from Cuba. There are literally a lot of collections. It seems that Mexican people love baseball and there is a baseball stamp section from many countries such as USA, Japan and Mexico. The gift store is located at the entrance too where you can buy a single piece of stamp or one sheet of stamp. Definitely I recommend this place if you are in the neighbor.

I really loved this place, they had such a big variety of stamps. But also the place was just very relaxing and beautiful to walk around in. Admission is free and there is WiFi.

Lovely oasis in Oaxaca. The exhibits and gift shop are amazing as well.
