This is one of the very best reuses of space for the benefit of the people of Oaxaca. I was surprised that I could not make a monetary donation while there.

Great area for kids to play and check out old trains. Free admission, shade, swings, trampoline and obstacle course. Inside area also with hands on activities.

Outstanding. My kids ages 5, 9 and 11 all loved it and wanted to return. Totally non-tech. Several play areas with rope walkways, tunnels, things to climb, ride - and some cultural exhibits involving railroads, history etc. There are visiting school groups and parents so it is easy to meet local kids. FREE

A museum of the railroad system. Has a small restaurant on your right hand side. Has a playground for infants and children.

A truly excellent museum and activities centre for children, built within the old station and goods yard of Oaxaca.
