Camino Real Monterrey

Lower than expected. The hotel architecture and interior poses as a top notch hotel, but the service at reception, restaurant, elsewhere is poor if not substandard. Breakfast buffet is also not at the level of a 4stars. I've booked a club room but the lounge was closed. No information were available except an incomprensibile warning at the check-in. One thing impressed me and that's the hotel premises are grand, reception and halls are huge, and the gym happens to be barely the size of a room or or two! The executive club rooms are large, decently furnished ( although the overall hotel style is minimal) well equipped and clean.

Nice environment, spacious room, mini bar, delicious breakfast. The hotel is located in a nice neighborhood called San Pedro, where they're several options of restaurants. Also, there's a shopping mall very close (walk distance) that is very convenient. The architecture is beautiful and is a big differenciator. They just missed one point: Provide coffee and tea at the room, but recommend it.
