Traveling from Mexico City towards Pachuca, you can find at the side of the highway a restaurant of a great lamb barbacue named "El Amigo Güero". You can have barbacue or lamb meat broth with rice and chickpeas with a touch or dry red peppers. An amazing taste, and have to be eaten hot. You can have lamb ribs, tender meat and even a prepared lamb stomach with veggies, and other lamb meats. All dishes are served with blue corn tortillas and you can ask for a platter of Nopales salad, spicy sauces, fresh cheese and pork rinds to fullfil your taco! I recommend to arrive before noon, even the place looks like a big Circus colored tent, and has a lot of tables, the place gets really crowded. And after 12pm you may wait for a table to eat. Enjoy/Provechito!
