This place was great. I love the area. I like the Caribbean feel and it’s a 5 minute walk to the best part of Playa Norte. Staff were fantastic. This might be my favorite all time hotel in this price range. I had the upgraded room w/ king and hot tub on balcony

Overall this is a solid hotel and would stay here again. Great value, property is a little run down, and a little cluttered, but it's location is great. Short walk from the ferry and a shorter walk to the best bars and restaurants in the Playa Norte area. View is great as well. This visit was during the pandemic so the restaurant/bar was closed a day I'm sure that had an impact. Pros Location Overall feel of resort Room decor Cleanliness View Cons Pillows weren't good at all Weak water pressure in shower A little run down and cluttered (things may have been off due to COVID19 to be fair)

We arrived at the hotel around 2:30 checked in, and we head to the room given to us when we opened the door the room was still not ready (needs to be cleaned). Then the receptionist offered us a different room temporarily because apparently the other room is an upgrade and she can’t give us that room, we agreed to take the other room and we had to move our luggages 3 times, go up and down the stairs, there was no apology given what so ever from the receptionist. The room was given to us later on was still smelly, filled with mosquitoes and didn’t feel to take shower in here at all. We’re so disappointed as the least they could have done is to offer to move our luggages for us. We were tired from traveling but they didn’t care. The receptionist needs some extra training, another example is when we asked if there’s a breakfast her response was no your room reservation doesn’t come with breakfast then we asked ok how much is the breakfast if we want then she said: oh well, we don’t offer breakfast. My partner speaks Spanish as he’s from Mexico so it is not a language barrier.

Beautiful lowkey location and views of the Caribbean side of the island with no hotels and boats blocking the ocean views. I highly recommend a king suite with large terrace and outdoor jacuzzi on 3rd floor. Private and best views. Continental breakfast is delicious and easy walk to Hidalgo and Playa Norte. Rent a golf cart to get to Punta Sur for expansive cliff views and Garrafon Park.
