My favorite hotel on the coast of Oaxaca. The service is amazing - they’ve become friends of the years - the pool is stunning, and the view incredible. Plus food and drinks and you have a pretty epic way to spend a day/week/month/rest of your life. Read the other reviews - El Copal is perfect for 90% of people, good for the other 9%, and not a fit for 1%. I am a very happy part of the 90!!

The restaurant has a relaxing ambiance, incredible view, attentive service. Excellent food at a comparable price to the main drag in Mazunte.

Most beautiful place to watch the sunset, but don’t come here for food or drinks: They seem to have bad management, which is probably the reason for the inexperienced service and mediocre kitchen. This place could be so much more with the right Management in place.
