Inanam Bus Station Terminal

These so called "employees" from each bus company always crowded guest coming from our ride to the station, disregarding social distancing and forcefully open the car door and ask us "where are you going?" "Which bus?" and forcefully take our stuff, which they so called "help". We don't need their hands all over our stuff. We are not obligated to tell them which bus we take or where are we going! And they swarm us like ants! And when we resist to responds or try to ignore them, they started yelling angrily. Please do something, these rascals are annoying and invading personal spaces and very very rude.

It's a big bus terminal for people going to Sandakan, Tawau, Lahad Datu and Semporna. There's a lot of bus company that providing the transportation service for all. Prices of tickets are vary depending on the destination.For example Sandakan there's two bus company Tung Ma and Sida. The fare is RM 43 one way per person. 6 hours travel period. Usually they take turn going from and to Sandakan. As for me I prefer Tung Ma because it's more comfortable and fast.All the buses got toilet inside but on the way they will stop for a quick rest at their regular stop for eating and toilet too. So don't worry.There's an information counter at the terminal and the officer will be willingly to help you out if there's anything you want to ask.A small shop selling tidbits,snacks,mineral water and other travelling stuffs. Public toilet also available and you need to pay before entering for 20 cents. Good to use. But as for parking it's really hard to get also especially the area always packed. What you can do is entering to the terminal parking through the gate but you need to pay for RM2 one time. But it's much more easier than keep on making turn to get one. Time open as early as 6am and close around 10pm.Easy to get taxi since they just park in front.But price maybe expensive.. You can always get a Grab or My Car. Public transportation like bus also pass by but only outside not getting inside so you will need to walk further but fare is a lot cheaper. Near the terminal is Inanam police station, and a lot of restaurants, hotel and 24 hour convenience store such as Orange and 7 eleven. Nearest ATM is inside 7 eleven.

Crowded, full with people. The traffic here is bad. All the mini Buses are Not parking at the perfect order and spaces, and this affected the traffic here. Road blocked and vehicles like cars are hardly Move. No safety road order here like zebra crossing nor the foot bridege. So, mind your safety here while cross the road. If you want to park inside the station, there is a round about nearby, which is the entrance of the station located there. Entrance fee of Rm 2 are required for drivers who want to park their car inside the station to drop off passengers or buy ticket. Anyway, since it is a crowd place, mind your belongings. I don't think the police there can always protect your safety there, although the police station just in front of the station.

Main hub for buses going north (Sandakan - Tawau and the areas in between). Usually packed during weekends & holidays. Need more chairs at waiting area.
