Finally picked up a damaged and half dismantled bicycle on September 18. Brought to another bicycle repairer. 350 euros to recover what they had destroyed. Bicycle was repaired in three days. Malfunction in headlight was the cause of the malfunction. Could have been made for 25 euros if I had not offered the bike for rehearsal at J van Spain but immediately with someone else. What else had broken on this bike at J van Spain; stroke in front wheel, broken standard, gear cover missing. Bicycle covered in dust and grease collected. Bicycle had just been broken in when it was presented there for rehearsal. J from Spain emailed 9/30/2020 for reasonable compensation. No response to date. I'll wait for this properly.
